Getting Started

You'll be taking your first order in under five minutes. Install from the Linnworks Application Store — you can then use the app inside Linnworks or standalone in its own browser tab.

Option A: Install from inside Linnworks (recommended)

  1. Open Linnworks → Apps in the sidebar
  2. Search the App Store for Trade Order POS and click Install — or use the direct install link: apps.linnworks.net/Authorization/Authorize/944973fe-…
  3. Approve the permissions Linnworks asks for (Orders read+write, Stock read, Processed Orders read — we do not request the Customers permission)
  4. Trade Order POS now appears in your Apps list. Click it.
  5. The app loads inside Linnworks via our iframe at https://trade-pos.mcp-g.com/embed?token=[{TOKEN}] — your Linnworks session signs you in automatically.
  6. Your 14-day free trial starts automatically — every feature unlocked, no card details needed. You're in.
  7. To keep using the app after the trial, subscribe from Apps → Application Store → Trade Order POS inside Linnworks (Solo £29.99/mo or Team £79.99/mo, inc VAT) — billing is handled entirely by Linnworks.

Option B: Use it standalone (web & mobile)

Want to run the POS in its own browser tab — on a phone at the counter, or a desktop outside Linnworks? You can, once you've installed and subscribed from the Linnworks Application Store (Option A). Your subscription and billing are always managed by Linnworks.

  1. Install Trade Order POS from the Linnworks Application Store and start your trial (Option A above).
  2. Go to trade-pos.mcp-g.com and sign in with your work email — we send a magic link, no password needed.
  3. Connect your Linnworks account: open the install link the app shows you, authorise it, and paste the install token back into the POS. The app then works standalone using your Linnworks connection.

Your first order in 60 seconds

  1. Focus the product search (top-left). It's pre-focused so you can start scanning or typing immediately.
  2. Search or scan for a product. If you've got a USB barcode scanner, just scan — the match auto-adds itself to the cart.
  3. Adjust quantities in the cart with the ± buttons, or edit unit prices directly.
  4. Look up the customer in the right-hand panel by typing their name or company. Pick the match and their address auto-fills.
  5. (Optional) Add a Reference No, the customer's PO Number, a Sub Source tag and any Notes.
  6. (Optional) Tick the Auto-process toggle if you want the order pushed straight through to completed.
  7. Click Submit Order. The order is in Linnworks within seconds.
