B2B Price Tiers integration

If you also use B2B Price Tiers — a separate MCP-G app — Trade Order POS automatically applies a customer's assigned price tier the moment you select them. No manual price lookups, no remembering who gets which rate.

Live

What it does

B2B Price Tiers lets you build named pricing tiers (e.g. Trade, Wholesale, RRP) and assign each customer to one. Once the two apps are connected, Trade Order POS reads those tier prices and applies them for you: select a customer who's on a tier and their tier prices flow straight into the cart.

Connect the two apps

The link is a connection URL that B2B Price Tiers generates for you. It contains a private API key, so treat it like a password — don't share it.

  1. Copy the connection URL from B2B Price Tiers

In B2B Price Tiers, go to Settings → Trade Order POS integration and copy the connection URL. It looks like https://b2b-prices.mcp-g.com?key=… — the key is your private API key.

  2. Paste it into Trade Order POS

In Trade Order POS, go to Settings → B2B Price Tiers, paste the connection URL into the field, and click Save.

  3. Reload

Reload Trade Order POS. The integration is now live and tier prices apply automatically on your next order.

Auto-pricing on customer selection

When you select a customer who's assigned to a tier, their tier prices populate the cart automatically. The customer tag shows a 🏷 <Tier> tier badge (for example 🏷 Trade tier) so it's clear which tier is driving the prices.

Tier prices in the search dropdown

You can see the tier price before you even add a product. When a tier customer is selected, the product search results show that customer's tier price alongside a tier badge, with the RRP struck through — so you know exactly what the line will cost before adding it to the cart.

Tier badge & "why this price?" on cart lines

Each tier-priced cart line carries a tier badge. Hover the badge for a "why this price?" tooltip that shows the tier's pricing formula and the line's Linnworks cost — so you can see at a glance how the price was worked out and what margin it leaves.

Margin guard

Trade Order POS checks every line against its Linnworks cost. Any line priced below cost is flagged amber with a ⚠ below cost £X warning, so a too-aggressive tier price or a manual override never slips through unnoticed.

Assign a tier from the POS

You don't have to switch apps to set a customer's tier. The customer panel has a tier dropdown: pick a tier and Trade Order POS writes the assignment back to B2B Price Tiers. The new tier prices apply to the cart straight away, and the customer is now on that tier everywhere.

Minimum order value (MOQ)

If a tier has a Minimum Order Value set in B2B Price Tiers (Settings → tier → Min order £), Trade Order POS checks the order against it. If the order is below the tier's minimum, submitting shows a warn-don't-block prompt — you're told the order is under the minimum but can still go ahead if you choose to.

Requirements

If you don't use B2B Price Tiers, this panel simply stays inactive — Trade Order POS works exactly as before, with your normal Linnworks retail prices.

For setting up tiers, pricing rules, minimum order values and customer assignments, see the B2B Price Tiers documentation.
